Coffee Jam 2024

"Coffee Power" is a thrilling 2D platformer, designed in a retro Gameboy style, where you play as a brave little coffee cup on an epic quest! Pirates have stolen all the coffee from your village and sailed off to the open sea. Without it, the village is crumbling. Only you can save it!

To get the coffee back, you'll need to find three magical coffee beans, each granting the power to transform into different coffee types, each with unique abilities. Use these powers to solve puzzles, overcome obstacles, and make your way through the pirate ship. But beware – danger is everywhere, and a legendary sea creature awaits!

Can you recover the stolen coffee before it’s too late? Prepare for action-packed platforming, cool power-ups, and an epic final boss battle!

Controls

  • A/D: Move
  • J: Jump/interact
  • K: Use special abilities
  • Shift: Switch between coffee types (once you’ve unlocked new beans)

Each coffee type has unique powers you’ll need to use strategically to progress!

A complete little game , you get all the stars from me :)
Good luck!

Form of.......a Cappucino! XD

Cute. Short. Promised a grand adventure but ended up more like a proof of concept (jam game).

Thank you for your feedback. Yes, I developed the game for a game jam, which is why the game is short.

Any plans to enhance the game?

At the moment, there are no plans to expand the game, as I am currently too busy.

A quite classic answer, but thanks for the feedback :)

The idea and graphics are nice. But I get bugged when I press Ctrl (I teleport off screen). The game seems nice but you need to polish

Thank you very much for the feedback. I have fixed the bug. It should now be much harder to teleport off-screen when dashing.

I will check later then!
